Food Rescue is a core program at TCK that transforms in-kind food donations into meaningful community impact. Through partnerships with local restaurants and food distributors, we recover high-quality surplus food that might otherwise go to waste. This collaborative effort strengthens our local food system while reducing negative environmental impact. By redirecting excess food into prepared meals and community distribution, TCK works alongside partners across the region to promote sustainability, responsible resource use, and shared community care.

TCK’s Green Team advances our commitment to sustainability by prioritizing reusable packaging for weekly meal deliveries and implementing environmentally friendly cleaning practices in our kitchen operations. These efforts eliminate more than 18,000 single-use items each year, diverting an estimated 1.2 tons of waste from landfills, while ensuring our processes remain safe, efficient, and aligned with environmental best practices.
