TCK couldn't exist without our fantastic team of volunteers, and we are always expanding that team! We have several different types of volunteer opportunities.
Kitchen volunteers (Tuesdays, 10am-2pm): Assist with meal prep, packaging, and light cooking. No experience needed. Kitchen volunteers are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID and must wear closed-toed shoes and a hat or hair covering. Sign up here on a week-by-week basis.
Delivery drivers (Tuesdays, approx. 2pm-4pm): Drop off packaged meals at 15-20 homes in Truro. Contact us directly if you are interested in delivering meals with TCK.
Monthly community dinner volunteer opportunities occur on the second Monday of every month. Prep shift sign up HERE and serving shift sign up HERE.
Green Team (Tuesdays, 2:30-4:30pm): Pitch in with the team of volunteers responsible for washing and sanitizing our reusable meal containers in the commercial dishwasher. Not a glamorous task, but it's with a great group of volunteers, and the work is absolutely essential! Sign up hereon a week-by-week basis (this link is different from the kitchen volunteer signup link).
